Steel is the traditional symbol of an 11th anniversary. To celebrate the 11th year walk on May 7th, we looked for a theme or symbol that shows the toughness, resolve and nerve that those going through breast cancer have and that our walk participants continually exhibit -- we found it in a theme called WE CAN CURE IT!.  Based on the orig. wartime poster by J. Howard Miller in 1943 for Westinghouse Electric, the revamped version represents the "steel" determination in the fight to prevent breast cancer. Join us by helping to fund a cure and put an end to breast cancer!

* AXIS Community Health -- $26,000
* Stanford Health Care - ValleyCare Breast Cancer Services -- $43,000
* UCSF Helen Diller Comprehensive Cancer Center -- $64,000
