Why We Walk stories ... We all have very personal reasons that we walk and why we care about helping those that are fighting against breast cancer. We have dedicated a page on our website called "Why We Walk" and would love to have you share your story with all who support Tri-Valley SOCKs (attach a picture to share, too!). Please send your story to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are thankful for the support that UPTOWN GIRLS SALON & BOUTIQUE has given to us! They have continued to volunteer their front entry space for our use at two yearly Downtown Livermore events, Witches Night Out on Oct. 4, 2017, and Earlier Than the Bird on Nov. 18, 2017. Uptown Girls Salon is located at 2145 1st Street, Livermore, 925-606-5552. Thank you, Uptown Girls!!
Be sure to click on our Event Partners tab above to see all the wonderful businesses and groups that are helping to support Tri-Valley SOCKs and our cause. Thank you to all of them!!
Thank you to PAGE MILL WINERY, Livermore, for their support in choosing TRI-VALLEY SOCKs as the beneficiary of the Twilight Tasting Thursday event on October 5, 2017. All present had a great time wine tasting, enjoying appetizers, and shopping at the various vendors' tables. Thank you to two Tri-Valley Newspapers, THE INDEPENDENT and the PLEASANTON WEEKLY, for publishing articles last July, 2017, highlighting the $160,000 in donations made in June to our 2017 Bras for the Cause Walk beneficiaries. To read the online articles, please click on the newspaper names: The Independent and the Pleasanton Weekly. Last March, 2017, Tri-Valley SOCKs' Kristen Demeduk Amaral spoke at the UCSF Breast Oncology Program Retreat. She gave a heartfelt and inspirational talk ... a powerful advocate's perspective. Please click on the Important Links tab above to view a video of her talk.
