Pre-Walk Route Marking
Time requirements: 9AM-noon
Duties: Teams of at least 2 will be given a portion of the route to decorate with flagging tape, arrows and signs.

Post Walk Route Un-Marking Note this occurs on Sunday May 12
Time requirements: 10AM-noon
Duties: Teams of at least 2 will be given a portion of the route to remove all signs and decorations.

Route Support
Time Requirements: 6:30 PM-9:30PM
Duties: Teams of at least 2 will assist with the safety of the walkers on the route. This would include ensuring walkers don't cross on a red light, that they stay in the cross walk, no running, etc. for the safety of crossing streets.  For this reason the route support needs to have at least one adult(age 18).  No one under 18 can volunteer for this category alone. You MUST have a cell phone and a flashlight.
 
Kilometer sign cheering
Time Requirements: 6:30PM-9:30PM
Duties:   Teams of at least 2 will hold signs marking the various kilometers along the route. Energetic,
spirited volunteers will twist and turn kilometer signs and cheer on walkers. One person must be 18
in the team.  You MUST a bring cell phone and flashlight.

Food preparation
Time requirements:  3:30PM-5:30PM
Duties:  Help prepare the food for the finisher's party.

Table watching at the finisher’s party
Time requirements: 8:30PM-10:30PM
Duties: Ensure that the tables are filled/refilled with food and beverages at the finisher's party.
May also involve party cleanup. 

Registration - FULL
Time Requirements: 5:00PM-7:00PM
Requirements: Help walkers with registration. Includes handling out bib numbers, collecting
money and walk waivers.

Cheering Stations
Time requirements: 6:30PM-9:30PM
Duties:  Teams of at least 2 will be assigned a spot along the route to cheer on the walkers. Bring music, noisemakers whatever to keep the walkers motivated. Each cheering station must have at least one adult (age 18). No one under 18 can volunteer for this category alone. You MUST have a cell phone and a flashlight.

T-shirt distribution - FULL
Time requirements: 8:30pm-10:00pm
Duties: Handing out the finisher's t-shirts as walker finish the route.
 
Goody Bag stuffing - FULL
Time Requirements: 1:30PM-4:30PM
Duties:  Stuff goody bags that the walkers receive at the end of the walk.

Sponsor support
Time Requirements: 4:00PM-8:00PM
Duties:  Assist our walk sponsors with setting up tables/displays and serving samples to walkers
prior to the walk start

Raffle support
Time Requirements: 4:00PM-8:00PM
Duties: Setup and monitor raffle table before the start of the walk. Will also move raffle items
to the finisher's party.
